Hermann Sachse Pure Tung Oil 500 ml – Wood Protection for Carvings & Wood Projects

The Hermann Sachse Pure Tung Oil is a traditional wood oil for the natural treatment of wood surfaces indoors and outdoors. It is particularly suitable for carvings, wooden figures, nativity figures, reliefs, wooden signs and handmade wood projects when a robust and natural-looking surface is desired.

The tung oil penetrates deep into the wood and hardens through natural drying. This creates a resistant protection against moisture, heat and premature wear. At the same time, the wood structure, grain and carved details are beautifully highlighted.

The oil provides a rich, darker finish and emphasizes the natural color of the wood. It is suitable for decorative woodworking, solid wood, hardwood, furniture, cutting boards and wood surfaces indoors and outdoors.

Application is simple: stir or shake the oil well, apply with a cloth, sponge or brush in the direction of the grain and remove excess oil completely after about 30 minutes. Several coats are possible if necessary.

After complete drying, treated surfaces are suitable for contact with food. The oil complies with DIN EN 71-3 for children's toys and is saliva-proof.

Not suitable for

Do not use on already waxed surfaces. Sand old paint layers or sealed surfaces beforehand.

Safety instructions

Cloths, brushes, rollers or sanding fleeces soaked in oil can self-ignite. After use, clean thoroughly, water or let dry spread out on a fireproof surface.
