The Hermann Sachse Hard Wax Oil Colourless is a high-quality 2-in-1 wood care product made from oil and wax for indoor use. It is ideal for carvings, wooden figures, nativity scene accessories, decorative items, wooden signs, furniture pieces, and DIY wood projects that require a durable and naturally maintained surface.
The hard wax oil penetrates the wood and reliably protects the surface from dirt, liquids, wear, and common household stresses. At the same time, the natural wood tone is intensified and the grain is highlighted more beautifully. Therefore, a test in an inconspicuous area is recommended beforehand.
The combination of vegetable oils, resins, and carnauba wax ensures a robust, open-pored surface with a pleasant feel. After complete drying, the treated surface is suitable for contact with food and complies with EN 71/3 for children's toys.
Application is simple: finely sand the surface, clean thoroughly, and apply the oil thinly with a brush or short-pile roller. After 5–10 minutes, completely wipe off excess oil with a lint-free cloth and let it dry. Depending on absorbency, 2–4 treatments are possible.
