OLI-NATURA Wax – Natural care and finishing for carvings

OLI-NATURA furniture wax, based on beeswax and carnauba wax, is ideal for the care, refreshing, and enhancement of carved figures, reliefs, and handcrafted wooden objects indoors. It gently protects the wood surface from drying out, gives it a silky matte finish, and preserves the natural look and fine details of the carving.

Unlike wood oils, furniture wax doesn't penetrate deep into the material, but works primarily on the surface. This allows the wood structure to remain open-pored and breathable. Carving marks, edges, and recesses are not sealed or covered, but rather clearly highlighted. Especially with decorative carvings, the wax ensures a smooth, even surface without a varnish or plastic effect.

This furniture wax is ideal as a final finish after oiling or for the regular care of previously treated wooden objects. It can be applied very thinly and easily buffed after a short time. The surface feels pleasantly smooth, yet retains a natural grip.

Thanks to its light water-repellent properties, this furniture wax is ideal for carvings in living areas where appearance and feel are paramount. For heavily used or humid areas, however, a combination with a prior oil treatment is recommended to achieve deeper protection.
