The Hermann Sachse Wood Care Oil for Cutting Boards is a mild, colorless care oil for wooden kitchen aids. It is ideal for initial care and regular after-treatment of cutting boards, chopping boards, serving boards, salad bowls, and wooden utensils in the kitchen.

The traditional calendula care oil penetrates deep into the wood, nourishes the surface, and protects against drying out, moisture, and premature wear. The natural wood look is preserved without forming an undesirable layer. This keeps the wood open-pored, well-maintained, and pleasant to use.

The oil is particularly suitable for kitchen boards and wooden utensils made of beech, maple, oak, walnut, linden, and other solid woods. After application, the treated surface is suitable for contact with food.

Application is simple: thoroughly clean the wood and lightly sand with grit 320 if necessary. Then apply a thin layer of oil with a soft cotton cloth, spread evenly, let it soak in briefly, and completely wipe off any excess oil. Depending on use, care can be repeated regularly.

Application Note

Apply a thin layer of oil, let it soak in briefly, and completely remove any excess material with a cloth. For intensive care, 2–3 applications can be made at regular intervals.
