Natural protection for wood and carvings

Here we present our OLI-NATURA hard wax oil – ECARF-certified (allergy-friendly) and LFGB-tested (suitable for food contact). This classic, pigment-free hard wax oil combines the advantages of oil and wax and is suitable for almost all interior wood projects – from furniture and stairs to fine carvings.

The oil penetrates deep into the wood, protecting it from within, while the carnauba wax forms a fine, durable surface film. The surface remains open-pored and breathable, allowing the wood to retain its natural feel and ensuring that carved details remain clearly visible.

Thanks to the subtle wood grain enhancement, the finish appears natural and understated, without a strong, wet look. It creates a particularly calm and even appearance on light woods. Application is straightforward: rolling, brushing, or spraying are all possible, and usually one or two coats are sufficient.

With a solids content of around 60%, this hard wax oil is very economical. For surfaces subject to heavy wear, such as tabletops or stairs, a second coat is recommended after approximately 8 hours. For a more matte finish, the fresh oil can be buffed with a white polishing pad.

Especially suitable for carving

Carving creates open wood fibers and fine surface structures that require protection without obscuring details. OLI-NATURA Hard Wax Oil is ideal for this purpose, as it doesn't form a thick layer and fully preserves the wood's structure. Edges, recesses, and reliefs remain clearly defined, while the wood is simultaneously protected from moisture, dirt, and perspiration.
